Sunbrink is a sunlight alarm app. We built it to collect as little data as possible. Sunbrink has no user accounts — we never ask for your name, email, or password.
When you dismiss a sunlight alarm, Sunbrink uses your camera to check the brightness of your surroundings. This check happens entirely on your device. Photos and camera frames are never uploaded, stored, or shared.
If you set an alarm with your voice, the audio recording is sent to our server, where it is processed by an AI service to understand your request. Recordings are used only to set your alarm and are not stored after processing or used for any other purpose.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives an anonymous device identifier and purchase receipt information to validate your subscription. We do not see or store your payment details.
Alarms use local notifications scheduled on your device. Notification content never leaves your device.
Alarm settings, streaks, and preferences are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data.
